Hotline Origins

It all started at the University of Texas with a new-age social problem. Although campus had a very large social network filled with lots of interesting people you could easily contact, everyone was so busy in their routine that it still felt hard to start a conversation with someone if you were outside of their bubble.

When an engineering student named David Carter wanted to tap into more of the social potential on campus with less effort, he began experimenting with ways to make communication with people in different social bubbles easier. After graduation and a whole lot of trial and error, the Viewz Hotline emerged as the best way to combine modern phone culture with social exploration.

Today, the Viewz Hotline is undergoing private beta testing with a single extension for CALLing students in different social bubbles at the University of Texas.
