It all started at UT-Austin, a place in Texas that has plenty of weird, intelligent and interesting people you could talk to, but everyone's so busy and spread out that it's hard to have a meaningful conversation with someone if you're outside their social bubble.

When an engineering student named David Carter wanted to tap into more of the social potential on campus with less effort, he began experimenting with ways to make communication with people in different social bubbles easier. After graduation and a whole lot of trial and error, the Viewz Hotline emerged as the best way to combine modern phone culture with social exploration.

Today, the Viewz Hotline is undergoing private beta testing with a single extension for CALLing students in different social bubbles at the University of Texas.
